Super Soldier Battle in One Paragraph

Super Soldier Battle is a free 3D team shooter that runs in your web browser. You play an armored soldier on a team, fight alongside your squad on Forest Mountain, and take down enemy soldiers and the gunships that fly over the battlefield. There is nothing to download or install: open the page and you are in the fight.

I build Super Soldier Battle in Three.js, and a lot of the articles and tutorials on this site come straight out of it: the fire, the ground mist, the ocean, the FPS controls and the sharpen filter. This page is the short version of the game itself, what you do when you play and how to jump in.

Red vs Blue: Team-Based Combat

Every match is two teams, red and blue. You are one armored soldier in your squad, and the goal is simple: work with your team, push the other side back and take their soldiers down before they take you down.

Forest Mountain

The fight takes place on Forest Mountain: open grass fields, forest, hills and mountains on the horizon. Open ground means long sight lines, while the trees and slopes give you cover to move up on the enemy.

Gunships Overhead

You are not only fighting soldiers. Armed gunships patrol the sky above the battlefield, so keep an eye up as well as ahead, and take them down when you get the chance.

Built in Three.js, Played in the Browser

The whole game is WebGL, built with Three.js, so it runs right in a modern browser. Want to see how parts of it work? Read Many Fires, Two Draw Calls, Ground Mist and Smoke in One Draw Call, Three.js FPS Controls and Load and Control a Rigged Character.
